For existing tiles that are unlevel or for tiles that are protruding, you can also apply a leveling compound across the entire span of tile to even it out properly before putting down laminate. WebJan 8, 2024 · Move it back and forth across each tile to heat up the tile and then have a board to lay the hot heat gun on while you are pulling up the tiles. You can only do a few at a time.
